Alison Pill
Pill began her career with her first film in Canada however it was only a few years later Pill made her debut in the American film industry. Bruce Gray starred in an episode of Traders. Pill was offered a part on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation starring Wallace Langham, Liz Vassey and Michael Ensign, in the episode "Would, Could, Shoulda" which was co-written and directed by Naren Shakar. Pill's performance as a character in Picard was preceded by a more prominent and recognizable supporting part as "Katie" in Devs. This TV show was produced for FX Productions on Hulu and hosted by the digital VFX company Double Negative, featured her throughout the series. The similarities between these and the two shows didn't stop in the first episode. The show's creators revealed that the show's central plot revolves around the preservation the consciousness of a human in a computer created creature. This is similar to what Data played in the film's season 1 finale "Et In Arcadia Ego Part 2."
